Quaker Steak and Lube in Vermilion

Very quick service. Staff are always friendly and welcoming. Loads of wing flavors as well as a large menu. Staff always make sure to properly clean and wear their masks!

When we arrived, we ended up waiting about 15 minutes longer for a table than anticipated. No big deal, that's hard for them to be able to predict. But once we were seated we ended up waiting for over an hour for 2 orders of wings and a kids chicken tender meal. It never came. At this point its after 8pm and we had a starving 5 year old that was getting cranky. We got there at 6:30. In that time, we only saw our waitress twice. One time to refill my husbands drink, and one time to give our child some goldfish. We finally give up and start to leave and the waitress says she will see if our meal is done. We wait for her and she says that its "almost done and will be out shortly" but we were done at that point. It's also worth noting that about half of the already socially distanced tables were empty when we got there. Also, all of those tables filled up and had their food before we did. I'm not sure our order ever actually went in honestly.

Worst dining out experience.My husband and I arrived just before 6pm. Had drinks and meals ordered by 6:15.At 6:40 our draft beer was finally served.... Warm, in plastic cups.At 7:15 our meals still had not come.We were told they were out of onion rings.... Many orders if onion rings we're coming out of the kitchen. Never received the "promised" cold glass for our beer. Would not pour a cold beer to replace the warm ones.Our waiter, Bear, was a wonderful guy. Felt sorry for him so we left him a huge tip.... Paid for our warm beers and left before the food arrived. It was now 7:26pmVery disappointing !!!We love in Vermilion and try to eat and support locals, but never again at this place

Not as many wing choices as they used to have. I was very disappointed with their bbq flavor, the recipe is not anything like they had 5-10 years ago. Very few gluten free or vegan/vegetarian choices on the menu. Restaurant was okay cleanliness wise.

Great view at the old McGreevy's. Food definitely better than The Old Prague.

Sitting outside at Vermilion Quaker Steak on Aug. 13th, it was hot. I was sweating, then became light headed and nauseous. I felt like I was going to faint. My friend asked the waitress for a washcloth and ice. Then the manager came over, asked me how I was feeling and suggested that we go inside the restaurant where it is much cooler. A male waiter came out and gave me his arm to hold onto. Went inside, and a waitress immediately gave us a glass of ice water. Later, another waitress asked me if I was feeling better. I want to thank them for their concern and the way they handled the situation. I also want customers to know how caring the staff is.
